There’s a lot more than money!

This post is dedicated for those who have lost their money in crisis.
By writing this post, I hope we could all see beyond something that we call “money” and give us hope to strive and survive. Many people in many countries still live under what we call ‘poverty line’, and they might be happier than us now.
So, why don’t we? Take a look at below list of what you have than money!
(You maybe didn’t have all the item in the list, but you should at least have one item in it)

Add the list and share it with your love one to give them hope and encouragement!

You still have:
1. Your life! Otherwise you wouldn’t be able to read this.
2. Your health to keep on living.
3. Your mind to create job opportunities, creative ideas, etc.
4. Your heart to love each other.
5. Your body to create tools, equipment, machines, etc.
6. Your knowledge to find a way out of this crisis.
7. Your memories to make you smile a while.
8. Your experience to prevent the same mistake tomorrow.

Series in Stories of Picture

I just launch two new series in Stories of Picture. One called “Today, I Wanna Be…” while the other is “Letter from a Friend“. The first one is dedicated for planet (what a ‘big’ word). It is a series of animal picture with writing of my imagination why I wanna be that animal. This series also include a little bit facts about the animal itself. By launching this series, I hope we could all know our neighbor (read: environment) that share our planet together better and finally could love them as much as we love ourselves.

The second series is more about life journey according to a friend. It is not limited to any specific topic, it’s more about what can a friend share about his life experiences each each day, each hour, each minute. This series is more about sharing experience, knowledge, perspective, ideas, or even a sympathy to our loved one.

All that we need is support

After having busy days in the office, I finally can write a new post for this blog.

I just read a new comment from frofessional in my There’s a Lot More Than Money post. He like this blog better than my other blog Stories of Picture. This one is neater. Well, I couldn’t be more agree with him about that. When I create this blog, I actually want to know how blogging in WordPress (I’m a new baby in blogging world) so I create an account in WordPress.com. And my first impression when blogging in WordPress is that everything is so neat at the cost of lack customization compared with Blogger. Keep in mind that I’m still new in blogging and this purely my opinion. I know now that both provider have a great tool to customization.

Social networking! Love it and hate it!

Recently, I found myself fell in love with several social networking tools. I know about digg, Twitter, mybloglog, etc for a long time but this spark of love began when I start blogging. To be honest, I don’t want to blog alone all by myself and no one see my post. So I search for ways to put my blog in this high traffic of hundreds of million user of Internet. How could you ever put your tiny piece of mind in this vast and growing world wide web?

Leaders! Trust your follower!

Have you ever had a boss who gave you an assignment, but we have to do exactly as what they say, step by step? For a couple of times, maybe it’s okay for you to obey. But what if your boss always treat you like that? I think you will say (at least in your heart), “Wait a minute! I’m not a new kid on the block again! I know what to do and I even know how to do it better!”

If this still didn’t bother you, let me take you further. At the end of your performance appraisal, your boss gave you low point with remark: “Don’t have initiative. Unable to do improvisation.” Now I think you will say the line in above paragraph.

Hidden Rule in Men’s Restroom

This purely my opinion, but I think some of us feel the same way. I once saw one of sitcom series mentioning about this rule. Well, since it was a sitcom series, everybody is laughing. Here’s the hidden rule:

When you take a pee, use (as much as you can) the urinoir after the unoccupied urinoir (e.g. if there were 3 urinoirs in a rest room and the most left side is being used, you should use the other most right side instead the one in the middle).
